Spikey® is our flagship product which allows farmers to grow more pasture and reduce nitrate leaching. It treats nitrate leaching and nitrous oxide emissions at the source, the urine patch, converting more nitrogen into pasture, leaching less to the environment.
Spikey® utilises the target spraying of liquid fertiliser which only sprays on inter-urine patches to allow for more precise application of fertiliser. |

Capture Nitrogen And Reduce Leaching
Spikey® treatment has shown reductions of leaching from 10-20% at paddock scale and an increase in pasture of up to 25% compared to non-Spikey® treatment. The current precise application of nitrogen to non-urine spots has seen on average 8% of the paddock not having nitrogen applied which helps with managing the current nitrogen cap.
